Celebrating Our 20-Year Partnership with Helderberg Hospice
This week, we celebrate the 20th anniversary of our partnership with Helderberg Hospice, our sister hospice in Somerset West, South Africa. Although our two organizations may be worlds apart, we share a mission that extends far beyond geographic boundaries.

Helderberg Hospice has a service area of between 180,000 and 200,000 people. With limited resources and a much higher rate of infectious disease, the nonprofit organization provides exceptional care to many in desperate need of quality care at the end of life.
“We have learned so much from our Helderberg colleagues,” said President & CEO Bill Finn. “It is an honor to collaborate with them, support their mission and visit periodically to see first-hand the difference they are making every day in the lives of those they serve. As we serve those living with advanced illness back home in the U.S., they have broadened our hearts and minds to the human condition and to the universal need for compassionate care and support at the end of life.”
